How to start preparation for the UPPSC Prelims Examination

Hello dear aspirants,

As the date of the UPPSC Prelims Examination has been announced (27th October, 2024), it is now high time to focus strategically on this ‘mass-scale elimination paper’ to secure a chance to write the Mains examination. Your genuine knowledge, effort, and practice will be rewarded in the next phase of this examination. For now, concentrate on clearing the prelims first. Everyone wants to become an officer by clearing the examination, but only a few are willing to pay the price for it. Suppose you live in a small town in eastern UP and want to come to Delhi for your studies. You have never visited anywhere before, so you have no idea about the route and the travel plan. What would you do? Would you follow others whom you do not know? There is a possibility that you could be misguided. Would you take this risk, or would you use your own judgment? I suggest you always use your mind first. No one will help you if you are not able to help yourself. So, believe in yourself and take the first step boldly and confidently. Do the basic work yourself and never depend on others for this.

In short, if you really want to join the officers’ club, you need to become a lone warrior. Analyzing the syllabus and previous year’s question papers should be the first basic step. By doing this, you can consider that 40% of your work is done. It will bring more clarity regarding the paper. After this, you can move ahead with any mock test program, which will help you a lot.
